Symptoms to experience in the 42nd week of your pregnancy.

The symptoms on your 42nd week will be the same as your previous weeks. You will be having troubled sleep, cramps, leg and pelvic pain, and no control over your urinary bladder. Your baby is sitting very low on your pelvic hence a lot of pressure is exerted on your bladder and your abdomen as well. Make sure you are taking hot baths and hot compressing your belly to reduce the cramps. You might be having contractions at this point, make sure you rush to the hospital immediately if you see them not stopping.

Stress will be another major thing you will be experiencing this week, there will be a lot of pressure on you as well to deliver the baby but don’t listen to anybody except your doctor at this point. If your doctor is saying you are good and your baby is doing fine then know you are safe and this delay in the delivery is fine no matter what others are saying. Don’t get stressed, instead of doing things and plan things to keep your mind occupied and positive most of the time. Know that if you take the negativity your baby is not in a happy condition either, so to keep your baby happy you have to be happy.

At this point you will be seeing that your baby’s movement is also increasing, so keep a count of your baby’s kicks and keep your doctor updated obviously. If you see something abnormal like weird discharge, bleeding or extreme abdominal pain, contact your doctor or rush to the hospital.
