Your baby is now about 36 cm and 0.91kg. By this week the eyelashes of your body are completely developed. Along with this, the tiny fingernails of your baby have also been completely developed. Also, by this week your baby’s eyes are open to let the light in.

You will see that the size of your baby is increasing during this week and your excitement will also keep increasing to see your child. Hold tight and don’t let the excitement and people’s opinion stress you out. You need to relax your mind and body and keep yourself out of any negativity. Consult your doctor if you feel any discomfort or have any doubts regarding your health. Eat properly, sleep enough and keep yourself hydrated. In the end, when you will be holding your child in your hands you will know all the pain and stress paid off for good.

  • Migraines: Sometimes during pregnancy, headaches are common. However, if you are finding your headache to last days accompanied by nausea and vision changes, let your doctor know about this and prescribe proper migraine medications accordingly.
  • Blurred Vision: Pregnancy hormones can decrease tear production causing eye irritation and temporarily altering your vision. Generally, this would become normal after delivery, so just wait till then.
  • Round Ligament Pain: Generally due to the expanding uterus, you would start feeling a round ligament pain especially an ache when you get off your feet. So always try to shift your position slowly to not aggravate the pain.

  • Take extra care of yourself.

You need to take extra care of yourself at this point. You need to see with whom you are interacting and what you are eating because you definitely don’t want to acquire some lethal disease at this stage. So always be cautious, keep reminding yourself that you have a tiny human growing inside you and you have to take responsibility as well.

  • Workout little by little.

Do not let your body become unfamiliar with working out and exercising. Make sure you are stretching out every day. It is always a better option if you do yoga, but make sure you are supervised by someone who is a yoga professional or an instructor. Other than that you can also go for small walks in the evening.

  • Communicate with your baby.

It is time you start talking with your baby regularly. Tell them some story, tell them how you feel. Make sounds and see how they react to that if they kick to your sounds. This is an amazing way to keep yourself occupied with something positive and will also help in building a stronger connection with your baby. If you are becoming very anxious to see your child, talk with them. This interaction will work wonders for your mind and heart.
