Serving size:  10-12

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup fresh Coconut
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¼ tsp of green cardamom powder
  • Silvers of almonds and cashews
  • 2 drops of ghee

Instructions

  1. Take the fresh coconut and peel off the brown outer skin. Grind it with adding the milk as a coarse powder.
  2. Take 2 drops of ghee in a thick bottomed pan and at low flame roast the nuts till flavors ooze and they are golden brown.
  3. In the same pan add the sugar and the coconut mixture.
  4. At low flame keep stirring it.
  5. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes till the mixture starts to thicken.
  6. Let the moisture evaporate completely and coconut starts to release its oil.
  7. Add in the nuts
  8. Add green cardamom powder and mix well
  9. Pour the mixture into a greased plate. Allow it to cool for 2 min.
  10. Roll out laddoos still the mixture is warm.
  11. Roll on the desiccated coconut powder.
