Here are the ways that can reduce the chances of getting affected by Coronavirus

As an individual, everyone is concerned as to how they can manage to save their families and the loved ones from the pandemic. Here are the 10 ways you can introduce to reduce the chances of getting coronavirus.

I. Make your family members wash their hands frequently and in-between activities like cooking or eating. Use soap and water with the stated hand washing routine by WHO for 20 seconds. This will help to remove any germs or viruses making the person free of infection.

Also, if they’re out make them use or instruct them to use hand sanitizer frequently with the same hand movements while washing with soap and water.

II. Cover their faces with the prescribed mask or any cloth with several layers, before they step out. The droplets of sneezing remain in the air for a particular time and it is more likely they can enter into the nostril. Therefore, don’t let them step out without any covering on their faces. Though, some say coronavirus can penetrate from the skin but this hasn’t been supported enough. The doctors say to cover yourself fully to avoid any cough and cold symptoms. It would be better if you cover yourself as the weather is changing and people can have chances of cold or cough.

III. Avoid public transports and make them avail the digital facility to finish their necessary works. Social distancing is the need of the hour. There should be three- or six-feet minimum distance between them and other people.

IV. Don’t let them touch their nose, eyes, and mouth. It can cause a virus to enter through any surface you feel can have.

V. Get your home surfaces cleaned now and then. The surfaces like the door handle, windows, or the surface you feel your family uses most, must be cleaned and sanitized regularly to avoid any bacteria or infection staying at the object.

VI. Sharing can be dangerous. Gulping a food item from your child’s plate or snatching away your food can be dangerous. Tell them to stay away from sharing things, which will even prevent them from sharing their stuff outside even if you aren’t with them. Make them realize why they shouldn’t share at this moment and also inform them that you’ll let them share in the future which won’t make them think sharing is bad.
