The Pink Feather – Super short stories to unwind that woman in you

Womens day stories

The words that you last write for a book are the first to be read out — ironical, isn’t it?

Such is a life of a woman.

We wish you all a Happy Women’s Day

Womens day

Women have been objectified for centuries immemorial, and yet have also been kept at a high pedestal forever in history. This diplomatic nature of the world and its people have always surprised me.

These are some stories inspired by women around the world, who made it big. I am not talking about becoming a CEO of the biggest multinational, neither am I talking about to open up a multibillion dollar start up. I am talking about doing big by breaking the stereotype. By breaking the chains of society that otherwise would have killed their soul.

So sit back, take that cup of coffee and go on this journey of these super-short stories to unwind that woman in you.

Celebrate yourself, for you, bring life to this world.

It is not by chance that you have tumbled upon this book, the entire universe has conspired you to get in touch with this book and probably go through the pages while you unwind your spirit and understand its true potential.

Hello,
We are the writers, writers who write a lot of stuff.

True, we are not some bestseller novelists who definitely are so good. We write we write those blogs that help you out when you need a parenting advice. We write those articles which you might have read when you were trying to conceive and was having some trouble, or maybe that late-night search you did on the internet to find out what is safe to eat during pregnancy while you were running your 2nd month.

Yes, we are those people.

Last summer, while researching for one of our social projects we came across so many women who had something extraordinary to tell. Something huge. Something which we have heard but often ignore it. And that’s when the team decided to bring out these stories inspired by such wonderful women in the world.

Now these stories might not sound so extraordinary while you are reading them, but let them sink in. They are simple. They are super short, and we really hope that they should be able to help you out positively in life.

When the stories themselves are so short, how can we keep the introduction long?

We would just like to thank Dr Gaurav Nigam- CEO and Founder of Dr Dad who penned a lot of these stories so that they can be served to you. And of course, the designing team headed by Mr Vimal Kashyap who made this whole book possible within 24 hours after getting the manuscript.

Hope you have a great read.
