Prof. Dr Indranil Dutta

HOD of Obstetrics and Gynaecology 

Prof. Dr Indranil Dutta, is currently working as Professor & Head of Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in IQ City Medical College, Durgapur, West Bengal. He is an True Academician having Received Awards and Recognition from National & International level 18 times, has written 50 Articles in journals of  National as well as International Repute. 

He has dedicated his career to working in rural village settings in West Bengal, focusing on in-depth research and practical experience in addressing medical disorders that significantly impact maternal health and lead to maternal mortality, particularly among rural women during childbirth. His commitment and expertise in this field earned him recognition in the medical community. 
In recognition of his outstanding contributions, he was honored with the Indian Medical Association National Award. In 2017, he achieved both the “Young Gynaecologist Asia & Oceanic Award” and a “Community Fellowship Award” for his community-based initiatives. Furthermore, he received the prestigious “Corion” Award from the Federation of Obstetrics & Gynaecology Association of India, further establishing his reputation as a distinguished professional in the field.
Beyond his accolades, he has made substantial academic contributions by authoring chapters in 25 books. Additionally, he has pursued 14 additional fellowships and degrees in various areas of medical expertise.
